Are Flodesk Pricing Plans Worth It? Read This Before You Sign Up
Last Updated December 2025
I'm a Flodesk partner, which means I earn a commission if you sign up through my link. I've used Flodesk since 2019 to run my business, and everything here reflects my genuine experience with the platform.
When I was researching email platforms 6 years ago, I focused entirely on price. Cheapest option with the features I need? That's the one.
Flodesk was one of the first platforms I started paying for regularly, and honestly, it scared me to invest. Why pay for something I can do with Mailchimp or Mailerlite for free? Six years later… I’m still with Flodesk and recommending it to all my clients! (Read more about why I fell in love with Flodesk here).
If you’ve been eyeing a new email marketing platform, I'm breaking down all 3 Flodesk pricing plans and what's included with your subscription that you're not gonna get with any other platform.
What Makes Flodesk Different?
Before we get into pricing and plan details, I want to share my favorite thing about Flodesk: they’re truly committed to giving EVERY subscriber the features they need to have success with their email campaigns. Whether you’re looking to nurture new email subscribers, grow your list, or sell out your offer, every single Flodesk plan has these base features to make it as simple as possible:
Your emails won’t look like they came from 2008. Anyone who has ever used an email marketing platform knows that this is a huge selling point. Your emails are a brand touchpoint. If they look clunky, it undermines everything else you've built.
With Flodesk, if you can use Canva, you can create emails that look like they belong to your brand. Because you shouldn’t have to use code to create simple, on-brand email campaigns.
You can send as many emails as you want. Every single plan includes unlimited email sends. Again, if you’ve been email platform shopping, you know this is NOT standard! Most platforms cap you at X emails per month and if you have a growing business, that often means you're having to do mental math every time you want to pop off a newsletter to make sure it won’t hit your limit.
With Flodesk, you just send the email. Weekly newsletters, promotional sequences, re-engagement campaigns… you can send all of it without worrying you'll hit a limit or get charged extra.
You can integrate with just about any platform your business uses without Zapier. A few of my favorites are Squarespace, Canva, Manychat, Honeybook, and Interact (just to name a few!). A few of my health practitioner clients especially love the Manychat integration. We have multiple flows set up to automate Instagram DMs straight to their email list and welcome sequence!
And Flodesk keeps building new integrations based on what users actually ask for, instead of adding things like AI features nobody wanted. But if you don’t see your favorite platform listed just yet, you can still use Zapier to make that connection!
You can review analytics without overwhelm. It shouldn’t take a data science degree to understand whether or not that launch email got you closer to your sales goal. Most small business owners don't need to analyze every single data point. You just need to know what's resonating so you can do more of it.
Flodesk gives you exactly the information you need (open rates, click rates, subscriber growth, form conversions, and workflow performance) to help you make decisions about your email campaigns without overwhelm.
If you want complex attribution models and deep analytics, platforms like ActiveCampaign offer more. But if you want clear insights without needing a spreadsheet to interpret them, Flodesk is your gal!

3 Flodesk Pricing Plans
Lite Plan ($19/month)
The Lite plan gives you access to all of Flodesk's beautiful templates, form types, and integrations. You can send unlimited emails, but you can only run 1 automated workflow at a time.
What You Can Do With 1 Workflow:
Run a welcome sequence when someone joins your list.
Deliver a lead magnet automatically.
Send a post-signup nurture series.
Re-engage cold subscribers.
The Lite plan works if you're brand new to email marketing and testing whether it's worth investing in. You send weekly newsletters and have one main lead magnet, but don't need complex automation yet.
You'll outgrow the Lite plan when you want to add a second lead magnet or opt-in and you want to further segment your audience and send different sequences based on what people download or click.
Most of the health practitioners I work with are expanding their marketing strategy via Instagram, free trainings, and blogging, and at that stage of growth, they’re skipping Lite entirely and going straight to Pro because that single workflow becomes limiting fast. If you have multiple different marketing platforms, it’s likely you’ll need more than the Lite plan offers.

Pro Plan ($25/month)* my top recommendation
The Pro Plan is the sweet spot for most growing businesses! Pro includes everything in Lite, plus unlimited workflows and no cap on subscriber growth (pricing scales as your audience grows). And it’s only $6/mo more!
You can send unlimited workflows. You can run multiple automated sequences simultaneously. Someone downloads your meal planning guide? They get a specific nurture sequence. Someone joins your webinar waitlist? Different sequence. Someone hasn't opened an email in 90 days? Re-engagement sequence kicks in automatically.
You can segment based on behavior. New subscribers get your welcome series. People who clicked on a specific link get tagged and moved into a different nurture path. Past clients get re-engagement emails or referral requests.
You can automate launches and promotions. Waitlist opener sequences, cart abandonment follow-ups (if you're using Checkout or Shopify), post-webinar nurture, limited-time offer countdowns… you can have it ALL running in the background while you're doing literally anything else.
Last year I spent an entire month traveling through Greece and Bulgaria. My email sequences kept running. New subscribers got welcomed. Lead magnets got delivered. I didn't touch Flodesk once, and my marketing kept moving forward!
The same goes for my health practitioner clients who have multiple lead magnets, regularly host free trainings, and send out replays. We’re not manually following up with every request and we’re not just throwing everyone into one generalized nurture sequence. Instead, we’re able to develop super targeted email workflows that speak to the exact symptoms someone is experiencing and get them the information they need in that moment to support their health journey.

Everything Plan ($49/month) for Digital Product Sales
Everything includes everything in Pro, plus unlimited Checkouts and advanced sales features like upsells, discount codes, payment plans, Apple Pay, Google Pay, abandoned cart recovery, and post-purchase automations.
If you actively sell digital products (courses, guides, templates, programs, intensives) the Everything Plan is gonna be your best friend. You can literally keep everything in one place instead of paying for a separate sales platform.
Who Doesn't Need This: Service providers who sell through discovery calls or applications (most of my health practitioner clients fall into this category, so they stick with the Pro Plan). Anyone whose revenue comes primarily from 1:1 or retainer work (this is me so I also haven’t switched to the Everything Plan). People who already have a checkout system they love and don't want to switch.
If you sell even one $49+ product per month through Flodesk, it pays for itself. If you're selling multiple products and want the simplicity of running email + sales from one platform, it's honestly a no-brainer!
Most of my health practitioner clients are selling their services through discovery calls or applications, so they don’t need the additional features that come with the Everything Plan.
Similarly to my clients, I primarily sell 1:1 project and retainer work via discovery calls, so I’m not on the Everything Plan as my business doesn’t need checkout features.

What to Know About Flodesk Pricing Plans Before You Commit
Pricing Scales With Your List
All three plans start at the base price for 0-1,000 subscribers. As your list grows, your monthly cost increases. But unlike other platforms that jump in price dramatically, Flodesk's increases are gradual.
You Only Pay for Active Subscribers
AKA only pay for the people who've actually opened an email in the last 60-90 days. Most platforms charge you for every single email address on your list, even the “dead” ones who haven’t opened a single thing. Flodesk doesn't.
Which Flodesk Pricing Plan Should You Choose?
Start with Lite if you're brand new to email marketing, send newsletters but don't need automation, have ONE lead magnet, and your budget is tight.
Expect to outgrow it when you add a second lead magnet or want to run multiple automations.
Choose Pro if: You're committed to using email to book clients or grow your business. You have multiple lead magnets. You want automation that works while you don't. You're building email into a long-term strategy.
**This is what I recommend to most wellness practitioners and service providers. The automation capabilities justify the $6/month immediately.
Upgrade to Everything if: You actively sell digital products, want to consolidate platforms, and need advanced sales features.
Don't upgrade if you only sell services through discovery calls or applications. You'll pay for features you don't need.
My Personal Choice: I'm on a legacy plan that's closest to Pro (and I'd choose Pro if I was signing up today). I have multiple lead magnets, run several automated sequences, and my list is growing. I don't currently sell digital products, so I don't need Checkouts.
If your business looks like my clients’ or mine: service-based or selling via discovery calls and applications, multiple entry points, email as a core marketing channel, the Pro plan is a great option!
Is Flodesk Worth It?
I've tested more than 5 email platforms in the last 6 years, both for myself and with clients. Some have more features. Some have better analytics. Some have more integrations.
But I still choose Flodesk every time.
This platform makes it so easy to create emails that look professional and feel personal. It doesn't overwhelm you with features you'll never touch and they regularly add updates and new integrations for the things you actually want to support your business growth!
